RVR 4-3 Blessington FC FT

Some game up in the AUL tonight! 7 goals, could of been double that but for wasteful chances and superb keeping. We went one up through a John OD banger from 25 yards. Keeper had no chance! 1-1 not long after and that was it til HT. 2nd half Dano Murphy came on and got down the right wing. His cross was tucked in by the impressive Paul Currivan from 10 yards. Blessington never say die attitude got them back in it for 2-2 with 20 mins to go. With FT looming, the skipper Ciaran Lattin latched onto a loose ball from a corner and swung a lefty at it... Top bins with a slight deflection! On 90 mins, a Currivan knock down is lobbed home by the lively Dano Murphy. Surely that was it? Nope! Blessington make it 4-3 with a few mins of injury time left. We finally seen out squeaky bum time though and go into the hat for the 2nd round...
