A wonderful performance today in the ALSAA by Colly O Sullivans side. The game was a tense affair to start, both teams content to keep possession in their own halves without much penatration. However, The deadlock was broken in the 55th minute with some excellent play from Paul Gibney to set up Mark Flynn for a goal at the back post. It wasn't long before the lads made huge strides into the game , with Sniper Walshe very influential in the midfield.. soon the lead was doubled with debutant Joe Finnerty tucking away a loose ball with a clever finish. The wheels came off for our valiant opponents and Mark Flynn was there to accept his second and our third of the game with another back post finish. The lads were in full flow towards the end and even parish stalwart Davy Sullivan had the tricks out with a couple of delightful step overs to set up some probing attacks down the right flank. Great performance and Well done to all involved.
